The NYC Union of Students is a group of students from across CUNY, Columbia, NYU, and The New School fighting for higher education justice in New york City.
PAY UP
Columbia and NYU are two of the largest private property owners in NYC. Due to a tax loophole, these two giant real estate corporations do not pay over $321 million in property taxes every single year.
Meanwhile, the City University of New York, the public higher education system, goes chronically underfunded.
It’s time for Columbia and NYU to PAY UP!
